To join a team, we recommend that you think about the following things:
Where would you like to train? Don't forget, there are teams based all over Norfolk, so choose one that best suits your transport arrangements. If you need help with transport, do talk to the team coach who may be able to help you.
What is your experience of playing basketball? There is one division in the Norfolk League, accepting all levels of players. This can include experienced players and bgeinners.
Costs! It is important that you are aware of the costs of joining a team. To be able to play any league basketball in England, you must be registered with Basketball England who will give you a license number acting as insurance (which you can claim on if you need to!). Also, teams will have certain costs entailed which will include, training costs, the cost of a team kit and subs. But don't let this put you off!
