Ever thought of yourself as a Basketball Referee? We need you.
Norfolk are offering a Level 2 Referee Course this September and you are invited. Here in Norfolk you will have plenty of opportunity to practice your new skills, with the Norfolk Basketball League, the Junior League and plenty of other tournaments happening regularly.

Do you have to do the Level 1 Referee Course before you can do the Level 2 Referee Course?:
No! We are eager to get you involved, so you don't need to have passed the Level 1 Referee Course. All you need is a passion for the sport, an understanding of the game and a willingness to learn. It is not compulsary, however it can hhelp to have done the Level 1 Referee Course beforehand, if you have the opportunity to.
Who will be teaching the course?:
Neil Baggott, a Level 3 qualified Basketball Referee with over 20 years of experience in basketball refereeing, will be the tutor for the course. He is a skilled and passionate teacher, with a great deal of knowledge on the sport. You will have a great couple of days with Neil looking after you!
What do I need to bring on the day?:
- A whistle
- A pen and pad
- Water
- Lunch/Refreshments (or bring money)
- Please wear suitable attire for playing basketball
